    Description

    This is a random bundle of old papers, advertising, election campaigning papers, souvenir booklets, etc.  Please see below for individual item descriptions and conditions.  Take it for granted that items will have age-related wear and yellowing.  Several of the items were once attached to a scrap book and still have bits of black paper attached to the backs.  By my count, there are 16 items here.
    1. Small booklet "How to Hypnotize, No. 28" by J.C. Dorn, Chicago. 15 pages with a single staple binding.  Measures 2-3/4" wide x 4-1/4" high.  Edge wear on all pages.
    2.  Post card #2563 "House Where Abraham Lincoln Died.  Franked "30 Jan 1968" and "Fords Theatre Restoration & Rededication".  Has two-4 cent Lincoln stamps.  Post card is unused and measures 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".
    3.  1962 "Guide for the Selection of US Commemorative Postage Stamps". January 1962.  Publication #PI-4. 15 pages with a staple binding.  Ben Franklin image on the cover. Paper.  Good condition.  3-7/8" x 5-3/4"
    4.  Paper pamphlet "Engraved & Lithographed prints". by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, February, 1970. #9326.  Trifold with an image of an old printing press on the front.  3-7/8" wide x 7-7/8" high (folded).
    5.  Paper pamphlet "Farmington Country Club, Charlottesville, Virginia". Trifold paper with black & white images of the golf course and country club.  Dated 6-29-1934.  Pencil on the front.  Folded in 1/2 horizontally.  Measures 7-1/4" x 10"
    6.  Advertising paper "Davenport Combination Germ Proof Filter and Cooler". Pat'd March 19 '95 (1895). St. Louis MO.  Paper booklet with 2 staple binding.  16 pages.  Slight edge wear and age discoloration.  6-1/4" high x 3-3/8" wide.
    7.  Paper pamphlet "Visit Ash Lawn, Home of James Monroe", Charlottesville, VA.  Bifold. Undated.  Edge wear to the paper.  Front image is of Ash Lawn.  Back page is a map of the surrounding area.  3-3/4" x 6". Scrap book paper attached to back side.
    8.  1934 cardstock "Maryland Tercentenary, Point Lookout Hotel" advertising.  3-1/2" x 5-1/2".  Nothing on back side except scrap book paper.  Age yellowed.
    9.  Pamphlet (paper). 1929 "Point Lookout Maryland, Point Lookout Hotel". 1 horizontal and 2 vertical folds.  Contains map of Point Lookout and lots of black & white photos.  4" x 9". Small separations at folds of paper.  Front page was glued to scrap book with paper still attached.  Also a 1" hole on the front.
    10.  Paper, bifold pamphlet "Castle Hill, Home of Prince and Princess Troubetzkoy and Miss Landon Rives", Albemarle County, Maryland.  4 pages.  Front has a black & white photo of a hedge maze.  Back has a map of the area.  1950's? (undated).  Good condition.
    11.  "Ford's Theatre & The House Where Lincoln Died". Paper pamphlet with 1 horizontal and 2 vertical folds.  1967.  US Govt Printing Office #0-255-909.  Good condition.  Illustrated.
    12.  Oversized post card with a color image of the "Maryland State House-Annapolis".  Unused.  Back has image of Spiro Agnew (then Maryland Governor, soon to become Vice President).  5" x 7". Nice condition
    13.  Small booklet "Historic Salem", containing 8 color photos of places to see in Salem, Mass.  Spiral binding is intact.  Nice condition with only slight wear.  Published by Mike Roberts.  2-3/4" x 4"
    14.  1870's "7th Ward Vote for Me" paper.  Image is of a cannon and US Flag with these picks listed for upcoming elections:

    Age discolored and bent.  Dad was nice enough to print up information about Matthew G. Emery, which will be included with the papers.  Stained.  3" x 5-1/2"
    15.  Business card, advertising. "Louis F. Neuweiler's Sons, Brewer and Bottler since 1890, Allentown, PA". Bifold with age discoloration and slight wear.  2-1/4" x 3-1/2" (folded)
    16.  Single, antique, March birthday information card from the "Mutual Life Insurance Co. of New York". This one is from the Washington, DC office.  Front has an image of a fine lady.  Card is #117+W.  Month of March. Birthstone image is bloodstone and personality is "True".  Back has dates and attributes of person born on certain dates during the month.  2-1/2" wide x 5-1/2" high.  Card is worn and has bends.  Is missing the top 2 corners (torn from a booklet?)
