    Description

Stuffed Chinese doll couple with one child, originally purchased in 1960s by a flight attendant based in Miami, it was bought in China while working for a Latin American airline (only non-USA airlines were allowed to travel there then). It shows the "one child" policy of the time, enforced by the communist regime until recently.
Condition: Very good still, but as often happens the silk clothing has faded. Baby is separate but tied to mom. Embroidered lips and stitched fingers. Includes two metal stands added later. See photos zoomed.
Sizes 11-12” tall each on stands.
Will be carefully packed, tracked and insured in US.
Note:  Foreign buyer may add insurance and tracking if upgrades to Priority or Express rate (no insurance or tracking outside US for Standard basic rate is offered, but will be tracked until reaching US foreign postal sorting terminal).
