    Fancy Cortes Sterling Silver Overlay One Ear Show Headstall
    This sliding ear headstall, featuring fancy braiding in black, beige and russet brown features sterling silver hardware hallmarked Cortes Sterling Overlaid.  The detailed braiding features knots in brown, beige, and black lacing.  The headstall includes two vintage Cortes sterling silver three piece buckle sets and two Cortes conchos at the bit ends.  All of the silver hardware is enhanced with Jewelers Bronze edging.
    Similar headstalls are used in the show arena, used daily, and many times end up on the wall in the living room.  The style was popularized in the 1980's by Gail Hought and the current price of a similar headstall from Gail Hought is ,500 and up depending on silver and the design of the braided knots.  This listing provides the opportunity to purchase a beautiful headstall of very similar quality and appearnce for a fraction of that price!
