For sale is a Traditional Scale
Breyer #20 Marguerite Henry's Misty.
She is the Misty mold in a palomino tobiano pinto. This is the very hard to find and highly sought after glossy 4 eyed vartiation. Please note that this horse is pony sized and is smaller than a full sized Traditional horse. The Glossy Four Eyed Misty was produced for one year only back in 1972.
The Glossy Four Eyed Misty is in Very Good condition. Her white may be ever so slightly offwhite in color but is not what I would call yellowed. From the right side, Misty looks near perfect, her left side shows some damage. She has some tiny pinprick rubs on her right barrel, the inside of her right front hoof has some chew marks her right hind hoof looks to have been chewed on by a dog and has some gouging and paint loss. She may have a paint rub on her left eartip. She has some light paint wear on the outside edges of her left hooves, 2 tiny rubs on the upper outside of her right front leg, near invisible tiny rubs on her left shoulder, paint rubs on her left haunch, stifle and gaskin, she has chew marks on the inside of her right hind gaskin and on the inside of the same hock, on the inside of her right hind hoof and coronet and possible pointy tooth mark under the pinto spot on her left hind gaskin. She has what may be a very faint near invisible brown paint stain on her left barrel that I have not tried to remove. This description makes Misty sound much worse than she appears in person. Because of the fuzzy texture of her coat, the tooth marks are not very noticable. Misty would make a better than average display model and is a very rare find. Please refer to the pictures for the exact condition. For my reference, this is #20GlossyBVA

Additionally, discounted combined shipping is only available if your order is combined

Please note that I ship using USPS Priority Mail (the exception being oversized packages).  The standard transit time is 2 - 3 days, includes 0 insurance
and
is fully trackable.
Please be aware that shipping weight is rated by the pound, 1 pound + 1 ounce ships at a rate of 2 pounds
.  I make every effort to keep the shipping weight down but I will
not
pack poorly simply to save money and risk damage to the horse(s). If multiple purchases are combined, packages may ship Parcel Post. This is because of the hefty dimensional size surcharge placed on Priority Packages.
I pack safely and ship within 24 business hours.
Express and International shipping is available.  I am sorry to say that the cost of
International
shipping has increased greatly.  For example, the cost of sending 1 Breyer horse to the UK via USPS First Class Mail costs approximately .  This is the very cheapest option that I have found. Additionally, USPS First Class Mail is no longer rated by the ounce but is rounded up to the next pound.

Terms of Sale
