From Walt Disney Showcase Collection, Disney Traditions #4032873 “Affable Accordianist” & repaired “Clap Along” two piece set. Jim Shore’s Heartwood Creek.
Imagine my disappointment when I opened this box today to find the “Clap Along” piece broken at the feet. We must have received it that way as I never displayed this piece after getting it as a gift in 2014. The break was near perfect though and he still stood tall before the repair (pictures #1, 4, 5, 6&7). I decided to repair with clear Gorilla Glue as I was afraid that any shifting of the broken pieces might create chipping. Picture #8 shows my repair work, I think I did very well. Displayed, the break is hard to see. Starting bid is low to account for the repair. Still a very stunning set at a great price.
This has been stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
