EXQUISITE  SILK COSTUME W/ BIB ,DECORATED W/ BEAUTIFUL HAND SEWN EMBROIDERY, THE FACE IS LOVELY W/ ITS DELICATELY HAND PAINTED FEATURES .RED SILK CAP W MEDALLIONS AND TASSLES!
COSTUME ALONE IS WORTH THE PRICE. ITS COND EXCELLENT!

THIS XLG DOLL IS A TREASURE THAT CAN BE POSED IN MANY WAYS DUE TO BENDABLE MID SECTION, MOVABLE NECK, JOINTED KNEES & ARMS
. THE HANDS HAVE LONG  EXPRESSIVE FINGERS .
THIS DOLL IS REMARKABLE  & UNIQUE. I have owned hundreds & seen thousands of Antique opera dolls & many more composition dolls from China
but this one is quite unique. Most of the XLG ones look more like enlargements of the 11" versions differing only in size.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER OF THIS  TYPE & STYLE ? but also it has been remarked to me on several occasions by other collectors how unique this doll is .
