This is a very nice brand new black iron twisted bars roller port mouthpiece Cowhorse show bit made by Greg Darnall with engraved sterling silver shanks.  The gorgeous engraved sterling silver is inlaid on the cheeks and a 1-7/8 inch diameter engraved sterling concho is on each side of the bit.   This is a new old stock bit and has a barely visible indentation on the left side concho near the middle which occurred during shipping from the manufacturer.   I have tried to show this in photo #7, but it is very hard to see, it's easier to feel the slight indentation with a finger.  This bit is very balanced and weighs 1 pound 1 ounce.  The bit measures 8 inches long with a 3 inch purchase for a 2.67 to one leverage ratio.  The mouthpiece is a 5 inches wide by 3/8 inch in diameter snaffle bit.
This bit features a swept back style black steel loose cheek.  There is a GD mark identifying it as a Darnall bit and is located on the right inside upper shank.
This stunning perfectly balanced bit will make a great addition to your show bit collection and will look great in any show ring setting.
