Handcrafted

the Huichol Indigenous People of Mexico .The egg form was covered with a layer of
beeswax
and then beads were set in place to create the beautiful designs you see.
The
piece measures approximately  1 /34" tall not including the string,  3 1/2" including the beaded string. This piece w
as a part
of our personal collection which we have begun to sell off. I have examined it and can not find any obvious missing beads..
We have worked with artists throughout Mexico for 25 years, first bringing their fabulous creations to our store in Evanston IL and now to our Coffee Shop and Gallery, Cafe Mañana, in San Pancho, Nayarit Mexico.
Natural variations are the nature of the beast when dealing with folk art items made by hand one at a time.
