Vintage Chinese Oshie - Oshi-e - Doll #3 - 9 3/4" Textile 3D - Ho Hsien Ku

Description

This is an exquisite hand painted textile Chinese Oshie, or Oshi-e, "push-picture" doll.  10" high, with a white cardboard backing.   Depicts Ho Hsien Ku, one of the Eight Immortals, holding a lotus blossom.  Excellent condition.  Believed to have been purchased in Asia in the 1970s.
