Vtg 1983 Walt Disney Snow White Bambi Deer Thumper Rabbit Rubber Plastic Holder

This is in good vintage condition. I have wiped it down with a damp rag, but it will need to be cleaned if being used. Please use the zoom feature when looking.
I am unsure what this was originally meant to hold. It resembles a letter holder or possibly a napkin holder. I am not sure if it originally came with something that belonged in the slot. If so, it is missing whatever came with it.
